UK Customer Service Excellence Awards

I recently headed down to London’s Piccadilly Circus to photograph the UK Customer Service Excellence Awards at the magnificent Cafe de Paris. When I cover awards ceremonies I always have in mind that the images are not only used to showcase this years event but also promote next years. I assist my client with this by generating clean stock like images of the room set up, any marketing material with sponsors branding in place and ensure there are plenty a clean images that give you a flavour of the event at a glance.

 

The night was hosted by actress Sally Phillips who was very comical in her presenting which was great for grabbing smiles and belly laughs.. To make sure everything ran smoothly during the awards presentations I would always have a brief chat with any host at the start of the event to discuss where I will be positioned and where I would suggest for us to pose the groups for the formal winners photographs. By this point I will also have already checked the lighting with the AV company to ensure the best spot is chosen to produce photographs with consistent and quality results.

 

Tables were cleared after the awards making space for a huge dance floor and guests were surprised by the blast of colour from a massive confetti canon and the sudden appearance of some Mirror Men to join in with the partying and take plenty of selfies.
